The Philadelphia Eagles playoff berth is the result of some phenomenal effort.

Nine wins… Forget a playoff push. Look at how many people who didn’t even believe the Philadelphia Eagles would get here. Inside The Iggles predicted nine wins, but hey, who’s counting?

It’s been quite the roller-coaster ride. People tried to fire Nick Sirianni and Jonathan Gannon after seven games. Heck, some people still want to fire Gannon, but here we are.

The Birds have clinched a Wild Card berth. They did so and didn’t even need the regular-season finale to make that happen.

Stars and under-the-radar guys are the reason. How do we define sub-radar though? Does Jake Elliott qualify?

He’s made huge kicks. He’s been automatic, and he was snubbed by Pro Bowl voters. So, maybe the league doesn’t see his value. The Birds wouldn’t have made the postseason without him though.

For now, we’ll put him in the category of honorable mentions while we take some time to tip our caps to a few guys that may not get the national attention but definitely helped fuel this run by Philly into the Wild Card Round of the NFC Playoffs. They, most certainly, earned their wings in 2021.
