Expect some surprises from this Eagles team versus Tampa Bay.

Perhaps you’ve heard the news. Following the longest season in the NFL’s history, an 18-week, 17-game marathon, the Philadelphia Eagles received an invite to a members-only party better known as the NFC Wild Card Weekend. The opponent is familiar.

Philly travels to Raymond James Stadium for a road date versus the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in what might be a rainy affair. These are the same Bucs that they played in Week 6, but like the Eagles, much has changed with this team since the last time these two met.

The opposing quarterback, Tom Brady, is one of the more recognizable people on Planet Earth, forget the NFL. He’s also quite possibly the best signal-callers to ever play the game.

Though many of the Eagles’ memorable playoff moments have included games versus this Bucs team, these are two teams that haven’t seen each other often. Sunday’s game will be the 21st meeting between these proud franchises.

The tally is split right down the middle. Both teams have won ten games. Both teams have won two of their four playoff meetings. Is anyone ready for a rubber match? We thought you might be. Here are four bold predictions for how this one plays out.
