Eagles versus Buccaneers Wild Card Weekend prop bets

Bet Number One:

  • Jalen Hurts Total Rushing Yards (over 49.5) -115

According to WynnBET, the Philadelphia Eagles are seven-point underdogs. The reason? We know the Bucs can score. We also know that the Birds tend to go on sustained offensive droughts that have sometimes killed them.

Those droughts occurred often in the first meeting between these two teams. That led to Philly being on the wrong end of a 28-22 final score at the game’s end.

Sure, Tampa is without Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown, but they’ll have Rob Gronkowski, who missed Week 6’s game, and there are rumors that Leonard Fournette may be back. Now, we don’t know if he’ll be back this week as he’s a game-time decision, but that’s something to monitor.

All of that is a long-winded way of stating two things. The Eagles will need to score points. Keeping Tampa’s offense off of the field could be very helpful.

Jalen Hurts, despite his growth as a passer, is still a better scrambler at this point of his career, and that could be where he’s most dangerous. Expect him to tuck the ball at times, on designed runs and out of necessity. The over/under on his rushing yards total is set at 49.5 yards. Take the over here.
