The season didn’t quite go as the Penn State Nittany Lions hoped it would. They struggled to a 7-5 regular-season record before being handled like a junior varsity team in the Outback Bowl versus the Arkansas Razorbacks. As they always do, however, they fielded some great talent that should find its way onto various NFL rosters.

EDGE star Arnold Ebiketie might see some of his former teammates get drafted before he does, linebacker Brandon Smith and wide receiver Jahan Dotson for instance, but he and another of his defensive teammates, cornerback Tariq Casto-Fields have a nice opportunity to turn some heads and answer a few questions that have been asked about them all season.

player. 830. . . . Myjai Sanders, Bearcats. 3

Potential Eagles EDGE prospect Myjai Sanders, Cincinnati

Myjai Sanders was solid for a Cincinnati Bearcats squad that made its first College Football Playoff appearance at the conclusion of the 2021 NCAA football season, but playing on the same team with Heisman hopeful Desmond Ridder, one of the best cornerbacks in the game, Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner, and one of the best linebackers in the country, Joel Dublanko, meant Myjai Sanders was playing in their shadows most of the time.

Heading into the coming Senior Bowl, Sanders has a shot to improve his draft stock following a Bearcats campaign in which he finished with the tenth most total tackles (41) and watched seven of his teammates tally more sacks than the 2.5 he registered.

He could rise with some nice performances during the draft process. Right now, however, he is receiving draft grades that place him anywhere from a second-rounder to a fourth.
