The Philadelphia Eagles shouldn’t agonize over what to do with the following.

Decisions about Jason Kelce and Derek Barnett are easy to make. Here are four other impending free agents whose futures with the Eagles should fall in the same category.

Ryan Kerrigan, defensive end (leaves)

There’s no nice way to say this. The Philadelphia Eagles signed former rival Ryan Kerrigan to a one-year deal this past offseason, and that will long be remembered as one of the worst deals this team ever drew up.

Yes, it was only a one-year deal. Thank goodness for that, but throw this one in the same category as the Byron Maxwell, Demetress Bell, and Nnamdi Asomugha deals. Kerrigan, if he’s honest with himself, should feel like he needs to give Philly some money back.

Hassan Ridgeway, defensive tackle (leaves)

On a team that figures to carry four defensive tackles, there seems to be gridlock when Philly has Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave, and Milton Williams. They’ll make the team in 2022 obviously, and that means Hassan Ridgeway, Marvin Wilson, Raequan Williams, and Marlon Tuipulotu are probably all in competition for the fourth spot.

Based on what we’ve seen from the Philadelphia Eagles’ recent history, they’ll probably stick with Tuipulotu seeing as how they utilized a draft pick on him last year.
