It would behoove the Eagles to go fishing in The Tide’s talent pool again.

They finally figured it out folks! It seems like it would haven’t taken this long, but in 2021, the Philadelphia Eagles seemingly learned something that the rest of the NFL figured out years ago.

For a team that’s had too many roster issues as of late, it wouldn’t hurt to check out college football’s elite program, the Alabama Crimson Tide, to see if there’s anyone from their talent pool that they can add to their own roster.

The Eagles have found two future stars in DeVonta Smith and Landon Dickerson, their first two selections from the 2021 NFL Draft. Prior to that, they hadn’t drafted anyone from ‘Bama since they took Freddie Milons in Round 5 of 2002’s selection meeting. Now, as draft time nears again, people are wondering if they’ll go fishing in Tuscaloosa’s ever-flowing pool of future NFL stars for a second straight season.

This year’s class isn’t the same level of game-changers that we normally see, but no one would be heartbroken if Philly added any of the guys on this list to the nest. Here’s a look at five potential prospects that shared the field with Smith and Dickerson at the NCAA level that wouldn’t be bad teammates to those two in an Eagles uniform.
