The Eagles are looking to add one more piece to their cornerback room.

The Eagles are seemingly set with Darius Slay and Avonte Maddox (their CB1 and their top slot corner). They’ll need to add another outside CB and possibly replace some of the guys that we’ve mentioned as depth options. Here are the best prospects in 2022’s draft class, Each one can slide into a starting role and give Philly some quality snaps.

806. . . . Tariq Castro-Fields, Penn State. 10. player

Tariq Castro-Fields entered the college football season with a lot of hype and fanfare, but he had a rough go in 2021. He had a solid week at the Senior Bowl, and that will help him some. Still, despite some issues with eye discipline, he’s s better option than guys like Derion Kendrick and Kalon Barnes.

2410. . . . Tariq Woolen, UTSA. 9. player

UTSA standout Tariq Woolen didn’t see the quality of competition that guys like Myles Jones (Texas A&M) and Josh Thompson (Texas) saw, but he edges each of those guys out slightly for a spot on this list’s top ten.

Baylor’s Jalen Pitre feels like a slot guy. Coby Bryant (Cincinnati) and Jermaine Waller (Virginia Tech) didn’t impress at the combine. They could rise, but for now, Woolen is in our top ten and should be in yours too. Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy has already stated he believes Woolen could be a second- or third-round selection.
