The Eagles have a wealth of talent to choose from at LB during the NFL Draft.

It doesn’t get much better than March. Sure, it’s still cold in certain parts of the country, and the weather does the Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde thing in other areas (it’s nothing like getting summertime temperatures in the A.M. and freezing conditions at night), but the Philadelphia Eagles have free agency and an approaching draft to talk about. How can you not be pumped about that?

With three first-round draft choices, people are asking if this is the year Philly takes a linebacker in Round 1. Well, don’t be surprised if they don’t, but they’ll have a wealth of options in rounds two through seven if a linebacker isn’t Philadelphia’s choice for the 15th, 16th, or 19th selection.

Devin Lloyd, formerly of the Utah Utes, and Georgia Bulldogs standout Nakobe Dean have distanced themselves as the cream of this year’s crop in most people’s eyes, but you never know if there’s a sleeper lurking or someone who will rise during the draft process. For now, we’ll continue to slot those guys as the prospects who will be the first and second guys off of the board at the position.

What follows is a list of the best linebackers available once Lloyd and Dean have found new homes. Any one of them would make fine additions to the Eagles family.
