Which free agents will the Philadelphia Eagles re-sign?

Outside of the Haason Reddick signing, it’s been a relatively quiet free agency for the Philadelphia Eagles. That being said, it’s only been a few days since the legal tampering period and the new league year got underway. There are still moves to be made.

General manager Howie Roseman was just given a contract extension, and he isn’t done making moves by any means. He’ll be on the lookout for value deals over the next few days, weeks, and months. Don’t forget that there will be deals made after the draft as well. In 2017, LeGarrette Blount didn’t agree to a deal with the Eagles until May 17th nearly 18 days after the NFL Draft concluded.

In addition, the Eagles still have a number of their free agents to consider re-signing. They’ve already made decisions on a few.  Restricted free agent Greg Ward and exclusive rights free agent Andre Chachere both signed 1-year deals to stay in Philly.

Nate Herbig received a tender for one year and $2.433 million meaning that he will likely be back in midnight green. There has been some reported trade interest around the league for Herbig and fellow offensive lineman Andre Dillard per Mike Kaye. The only Eagle who has signed elsewhere is Hassan Ridgeway who is joining the San Francisco 49ers.

The rest of Philadelphia’s in-house free agents remain unsigned for the time being. The Birds have decisions to make on several players, especially on defense. With that said, here is the direction the Eagles should decide to go in with each player:
