Several former Eagles are having hard times finding new teams in free agency.

Roster-building can be a very tedious process. The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t the only NFL team that figured this out a long time ago. During every offseason, there’s much to consider.

How are we looking in terms of cap health? Who are our players that are scheduled to hit the open market once the new league year begins? How much draft capital do we have?

Weighing what needs to be done can be a juggling act for any general manager. Even still, it appears that we’ve gotten a handle on what Howie Roseman and Philly are doing.

The goal was probably never to ‘fix’ this team’s roster by going overboard with a free-agency spending spree. Fans and the media are annoyed. Look no further than the frustrated offerings of several trusted sources for Eagles info.

Some of Howie’s decisions have been, at minimum, controversial (Anthony Harris) and, at best, head-scratchers (Zach Pascal), but it’s reasonable to believe that we’ll probably feel better once the NFL Draft is in the books (we hope).

Once we get past the end of April and enter May, Howie will do what he always does. He’ll compensate and fill the remaining holes with some bargain-bin signings. Two of them could be former Eagles… maybe.

Add their names to a list of several former Birds who are having hard times finding new homes. Here’s a ranking of how they stack when compared to one another.
