. . . Dennis Kelly. 3. player. 35

Once upon a time, the Eagles explored a trade idea that didn’t work out too well.

The year was 2016, and the Eagles made a decision. Here’s what it was. On August 16th of that year, they traded Dennis Kelly to the Tennessee Titans for wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham. Let’s just say that was a bad idea.

Tennessee had just moved off of DGB, and it only took them a single season to realize that it was a good idea to do so. Philly released him after a single season as well, one in which he hauled in 36 passes for 392 yards and two touchdowns. Kelly, from 2016 to 2021 was a more than productive asset for the Titans.

He’s 32 now, so you understand why he may not be a priority on other teams’ wish lists. He deserves a shot to play somewhere though and should be on a roster in 2022 at some point.

Kelly never made a Pro Bowl with the Eagles or the Titans, but trust us on this one if you weren’t there to see it. Kelly is ten times the player that Dorial Green-Beckham is or had any chance of being.
