The Eagles close a solid draft with two late-rounders that could contribute early.

The evaluation of these future NFL stars continues, and from what we can tell, the consensus on former Ole Miss Rebels wide receiver Dontario Drummond is, despite hauling in 76 receptions for 1,028 yards and reaching the end zone eight times in his final season with the Ole Miss Rebels, most view him as a third-day prospect.

We’ll see if that changes, but for the time being, this six-foot, 215-pound wideout could be available for the Eagles in Round 5, and there are a lot of reasons to like him if he is. He could step in and contribute immediately to the Eagles’ passing game.

Some things never change, and as long as Howie Roseman is this team’s general manager, there will always be a premium on finding talent to play along the interior of the defensive line. Neil Farrell isn’t the perfect prospect. If he was, he’d be drafted much earlier than the seventh round, but with Fletcher Cox aging and there always being a need for quality rotational players, Neil is a nice way to close the 2022 draft for Philadelphia.

He’s six-foot-four and tips the scales at 338 pounds. He can definitely clog a few holes, and the 45 tackles and two sacks he tallied in 2021 demonstrated that he has a knack for finding the ball carrier as well. You can never have too many guys that know how to do so playing on your defensive line.
