Phil Jurkovec, Boston College. 5. player. 826. . .

There’s nothing to suggest Phil Jurkovec is on the Eagles’ radar, but you never know.

Had Phil Jurkovec declared for the draft this year, he would have made things interesting. He probably would have had it not been for a right-wrist injury. Keep in mind the fact that Jurkovec is also right-handed.

This six-foot-four, 225-pound prospect’s setback forced him out of action in Week 2, and it caused him to miss a much larger part of the season than he would have wanted to. He clearly wasn’t back to 100 percent upon his return.

He finished the 2021 NCAA football season having played six games. The result was 52 completions on 96 attempts and seven touchdowns versus only four touchdowns.

His first season with the Boston College Eagles was much better. He recorded 2,558 passing yards and tossed 17 touchdowns versus only five interceptions. He also reached the end zone three times with his legs.

We’ll never know what Jurkovec would have accomplished in 2021 had he not been injured, but he has a chance to make a name for himself this season. For now, we’ll rank him as the fifth-best quarterback on this list and someone that could be one of the top prospects at the quarterback position in the 2022 draft.

Might the Boston College Eagle become a Philadelphia Eagle?
