10. player. 879. . . . Andrew Booth, Clemson

There’s no way Andrew Booth and David Ojabo are among the Eagles’ top choices.

Arguments can be made that support Andrew Booth being drafted in the first round. When Philadelphia still had three opening-night picks in Round 1, you could even find a mock or two in which the author sent Booth to the City of Brotherly Love.

Here’s some truth serum, and it’s a tough pill to swallow if you’re a Booth fan. You can easily argue that he isn’t among the top five prospects at his position. Taking him at 15 or 18 is a reach, and if he is one of the Birds’ top two draft choices on April 28th, be very concerned because that will mean the wheels have already fallen off and things aren’t going as Philly had hoped.

. . David Ojabo, Michigan. 9. player. 811.

There’s a lot of first-round talent at the EDGE position in this draft class. A few of those guys could be snatched up quickly though. Here are a few theories that we keep hearing as we near showtime.

Aidan Hutchinson will go first-overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Kayvon Thibodeaux could slip on draft night. George Karlaftis could be selected earlier than people believe.

David Ojabo is gifted. He should be a first-rounder, but there should be better EDGE prospects available when the Eagles are on the board at 15 and 18, and even if there aren’t, the Eagles should still have a few guys on their wish list that they value more.
