We all have our opinions about social media, but if you’re one of those people who can’t get yourselves to open an account because you’d probably only pay attention to what the Philadelphia Eagles are posting, you’re irritated by some of the content posted by others, or you can’t stand being threatened by an anonymous heckler who hides behind a profile picture bearing someone else’s likeness, trust us on this one. We get it.

We would recommend changing your stance however if you never thought about following Darius Slay on Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. Big Play’s account alone is worth the trouble of coming up with a handle and varying your account via email.

With so many people using the IG and Twitter platform, it’s easy to lose track of what people you know are doing, but after reading a few of Slay’s posts, you might find yourself logging in two or three times a day to see if he’s posted anything else. Recently, he took some time to refresh our memories of his greatness.

Eagles star Darius Slay tells everyone “I know I’m top five”.

There are many ways that we can describe the man affectionately referred to as Big Play Slay. Phrases and words like fun-loving and confident come to mind. The word ‘shy’ probably never will. Recently he made a proclamation, and Pro Football Focus’ Eagles announce responded with a quick poll.

As you might imagine, the debate continues to wage on Twitter. Doesn’t it always? Don’t worry though. Everyone from Chad Johnson to D.J Swearinger and many of his good friends have his back.

Trending. Reasons to question Philly's ‘commitment’ to Hurts. light

You can argue among yourselves about where you have him or if you rank him as high as he ranks himself, but the man is coming off a Pro Bowl season, one in which he notched the sixth-highest total for fumble return yards during a single season in NFL history (116). He also tallied three defensive touchdowns. That ranks as the second-most in Eagles franchise history behind Eric Allen.

With that being said, we’ll most certainly give him some room to stick his chest out. Let’s hope he delivers a similar season during the 2022-2023 campaign as everyone is asking what we can expect to see from him for an encore.
