Leo Chenal and D’Marco Jackson are two potential Eagles prospects that could rise.

It’s easy to watch Leo Chenal‘s highlight reels and fall in love with the former Wisconsin Badgers prospect. Following a breakout season in 2021, one in which he tallied 96 tackles, eight sacks, and two forced fumbles, some have graded him as a second-rounder. More often than not, however, sources have placed him in the area of being a late second-day/early third-day guy.

For now, that’s where we’ll leave him. If the Birds wait until Round 3 to address the linebacker position, Chenal is every bit as good an option as Nik Bonitto of the Oklahoma Sooners, Aaron Hansford of the Texas A&M Aggies, and Zakoby McClain of the Auburn Tigers.

If you had the opportunity to check out some SUN BELT Football, D’Marco Jackson probably popped off of the screen. Throw him in the category of those undersized guys that may need to beef up some for the next level. He’s six-foot-tall and tips the scales at 235 pounds, but it’s hard to argue that he was one of the more productive linebackers in all of college football.
