The Eagles could find buyers in the Raiders or Titans at 83.

The Philadelphia Eagles don’t cross paths with the Raiders or Titans often, and you know what they say. Trades don’t happen in the NFL often, but if you’re going to strike a deal, it’s often wise to do so with teams you won’t have to play as often.

The Eagles and Raiders swap players and picks in Round 3. While Johnathan Abram enjoyed his best season in 2021, he’s battled injury in his career more often than the Las Vegas Raiders probably would have liked. Entering his fourth season, the Raiders could be looking for a trade partner.

Abram fills a position of need for the Birds at safety. To give the Raiders a few pieces that satisfy some of their noticeable holes, Philly sends two picks, a third-rounder and a seventh-rounder, along with a young corner and interior defensive lineman out west that Vegas could benefit from adding, Josiah Scott and Marlon Tuipulotu. Both figure to be expendable after an Eagles draft overhaul anyway.

Things didn’t end as Tennessee hoped in 2021. Try a first-round exit after battling their way to the top seed in the AFC on for size. Well, at least they lost to the team that wound up representing the conference in the Super Bowl.

Philly slides back in Round 3 seven spots and rids themselves of Jalen Reagor. They pick up a fourth-rounder in 2021 and a third-rounder in 2023 to sweeten the pot in the process.
