Brandon Smith. 10. player. 806. . .

Brandon Smith and Channing Tindall are very intriguing options for the Eagles.

So, how’s everyone feeling? What’s your guess on what the Eagles might do at 15 and 18? Will they trade up? Will they trade back? Will they go with an edge rusher and a wide receiver? Maybe they take a corner? Who knows?

What feels factual is the linebacker position will be addressed later. If we’re right, there will be good options after the first night. Throw Brandon Smith’s name in the discussion.

He’s a pure athlete. He’s six-foot-four. This young man can cover, but he needs coaching to become NFL-ready in terms of every other trait a linebacker should be known for having.

9. player. 814. . . . Channing Tindall, Georgia

There’s a lot to like about former Georgia Bulldogs standout Channing Tindall. He’s slightly undersized at six-foot-two and 230 pounds. He can play sideline to sideline, but he’ll need some coaching as well. He’s the anti-Brandon Smith.

Most of his tool kit seems polished, but he isn’t much in terms of being a linebacker you’d want on the field in third and long during obvious passing situations. looking at his career stat line at the collegiate level reveals a significant flaw. He didn’t break up a single pass during his college football career, nor did he intercept a pass.
