Dean and Lloyd remain the top two names on the Eagles’ draft board, maybe.

Before you even clicked on this list to give it the once over, you were probably already banking on seeing Nakobe Dean and Devin Lloyd‘s names at the top of the list weren’t you? Well, they’ve earned it.

We won’t state that these are the two guys that the Eagles value the most at the position. There’s no way of knowing that having not seen Philly’s big board, but if they are no one should be shocked.

Dean has been linked to the Birds for much of the pre-draft process, especially when they still had three first-rounders at their disposal, and following the show he put on as the Georgia Bulldogs marched their way to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, it’s easy to see why that’s the case.

1. player. 843. . . . Devin Lloyd, Utah

Take a look around at what the experts and writers are saying, and you’ll notice a trend. Devin Lloyd is universally regarded as the top linebacker in the 2022 class by just about everyone with an opinion that we trust. We won’t try and shake up the establishment by saying something controversial.

Lloyd is six-foot-three and 237 pounds. He’s probably the best all-around backer. There’s no need to criticize him as a tackler or what he brings when he’s allowed to blitz. If you need someone to cover tight ends, he can do that too.

Lloyd was worth the price of admission at the collegiate level. He’s going to be a star at the professional level as well.
