What happens if we let artificial intelligence determine the Eagles’ draft strategy?

We’ve examined the NFL Draft and re-examined it. We’ve mentioned pre-draft trade scenarios, possible pre and post-draft signings, and every option the Philadelphia Eagles have with those first-round draft choices. Every time we thought we had said everything that we could say, we found something else to talk about.

We tried to find the best options for Philly in all seven rounds. We argued for the other side of the debate and said what they shouldn’t do. Then we began asking ourselves about the possibility of Philly moving around the board.

Should they trade up? Should they trade back? We’ve talked about some of the best options if they want to deal picks. The next thing you know, we were a few days away from showtime, and speaking of showtime, Las Vegas is the stage for the next selection meeting.

How are we feeling? Will Jameson Williams be the choice at 15? Will someone we once deemed as being out of reach slide? We’ve stated our cases. How about some artificial intelligence?

The Inside The Iggles staff ran three different mock drafts on three different simulators. The first was done on Pro Football Network. The second was calculated by the NFL Mock Draft Database. The third was cooked up on The Draft Network.

PFN gave us an idea for a first-round trade, so we scrapped our first test runs on the NFL Mock Draft Database and The Draft Network, included said trade, and ran them again.

Here’s what we came up with, three non-biased mocks on three different engines without any human interference. Are you interested? You should be. Here are the results.
