Bryan Cook and Nick Cross have no doubt been discussed by Eagles’ leadership.

Kerby Joseph is one of those guys who are getting second-round grades. A six-foot-one prospect whose wingspan is measured somewhere around the six-foot-eight range, this young man only started one season for the Fighting Illini, but he made the most of his opportunity.

He dragged the guy with the ball down to the turf on 57 different occasions. That includes 41 solo stops. Add that to five picks and a couple of pass breakups, and you can see why he’s on this list.

Perhaps we should have discussed him a little more often during all of the pre-draft discussions.

. . Bryan Cook, Cincinnati. 4. player. 830.

If you’re one of those Birds fans that have grown weary with the exorbitant amount of missed tackles that you’ve seen over the past few seasons, the addition of someone like Bryan Cook would most certainly ease your mind and help you to sleep better.

Pro Football Focus ranks him as the 71st player on their big board, making him their fifth-ranked safety overall. According to their calculations, he only missed seven of 100 tackle attempts last season, and at six-foot-one and 206 pounds, he has the size defensive backs coaches at the highest level of football really appreciate.
