Might Isaiah Oliver and/or Kyle Fuller tickle the Eagles’ fancy?

A First-Team All-Pac-12 nod in 2017, the Atlanta Falcons drafted Isaiah Oliver 58th-overall during Round 2 of the 2018 NFL Draft. Four years, 50 NFL games, and 33 starts later, he boasts 166 total tackles (128 were of the solo variety) to go along with a sack, three forced fumbles, and 27 pass breakups, but he hasn’t registered a single interception since his rookie year when he made the lone pick of his pro career so far.

That’s okay. This is a nice prospect worth some coaching effort. Despite coming off of a season-ending knee injury in 2021, he could excel if given another chance by someone.

After a brilliant run with the Chicago Bears, Kyle Fuller, now 30 as of February 16th, didn’t just regress during a one-and-done run with the Denver Broncos. He fell off of a cliff, and that’s surprising seeing as how he was reunited with Vic Fangio, his defensive coordinator during four of his first seven years in the NFL.

He’s smaller than most want their corners to look like (five-foot-eleven and 194 pounds), but we know he can play. He’s a two-time Pro Bowler (2018, 2019) as well as the former league leader in interceptions and a First-Team All-Pro in 2018. He’s proven to be worthy of another chance despite having an off-year in 2021
