Way-too-early bold predictions for Eagles RB Miles Sanders in 2022
Miles Sanders enjoys a bounceback year with seven total touchdowns.
We sincerely doubt that Miles Sanders will be kept out of the end zone for an entire season for the second year in a row. As a matter of fact, we, very much believe the opposite. This will be a bounceback year.
Sanders will get his touches, especially in a more dynamic offense. Philly landed a tight end in Round 6 that would have never made it past Round 2 had it not been for his concussion history and well-publicized retirement (Grant Calcaterra). Look for him to do big things. Expect both him and Dallas Goedert to make plays as the Eagles’ top two tight ends.
We mentioned the backfield already, but everyone is excited about the guys that will line up on the outside, DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown. This team is going to move the ball. They will put up points, and Miles Sanders will be a huge factor in that happening.
We believe in Miles. You should too, and in what will be an audition for a long-term deal, we’re betting on ‘Boobie’ banking on himself and winning big. Write it down now. Look for seven touchdowns and what some will refer to as a year in which he should have earned more Pro Bowl votes by the year’s end.
That’s where we stand. Again, we’re sticking to that story. The debate table is wide open if you’d like to throw your two cents in and agree or disagree.
