The Philadelphia Eagles landed the biggest of all fish in Round 1.

The Eagles spent big-time money on their undrafted free agents, especially in terms of guaranteed money. Guard Josh Sills gets $135,000. Cornerback Mario Goodrich got $217,000. Defensive tackle Noah Elliss and running back Kennedy Brooks were both promised $240,000.

Oh, and don’t forget about quarterback Carson Strong. He’s breaking the UDFA bank so to speak with a massive $300,000 base guarantee that includes a $20,000 signing bonus.

It appears those guys might be around for a while. With that being said, let’s discuss the five guys taken by Philly in the 2022 NFL Draft. We begin with the biggest fish of them all (both figuratively and literally), Jordan Davis.

Jordan Davis’ contract details ($17,009,274 in total value)

Signing Bonus (estimated): $9,550,381

Salary Cap hit (estimated): $3,092,595

We’ve spent a ton of time hanging out on every site dedicated to tracking contracts. According to Spotrac, 2021’s Unanimous All-American, Chuck Bednarik Award winner, and Outland Trophy winner inks a four-year deal worth over $17 million.

That includes $7,458,894 in guaranteed money and a roster bonus of $925,000. His contract ranks 53rd among 300 interior defensive linemen. He also has training camp roster bonuses due in 2023 and 2024.
