There are no easy games in the NFL, but the Philadelphia Eagles will see some beatable opponents.

The release of the NFL schedule means we’ll be jotting Ws and Ls next to each game in an attempt to determine what the Philadelphia Eagles‘ win-loss total will be at season’s end. There’s hope! A nice offseason and NFL Draft has generated some buzz following a 9-8 record to close a regular season that many thought would be a throwaway or rebuilding year.

We’ve known who the Birds will play for a while. Now, we know when the games are. How about some power rankings? After analyzing every opponent Philly will see during the 2022-2023 season, here’s how they stack in terms of talent level and expectations.

We begin in the bottom tier.

We hate to be crass. We’re going to be very upset if the Eagles lose to any of these teams though.

14. Houston Texans

Perhaps the NFL’s most poorly-run organization, it’s hard to remember who plays for this team sometimes. Nothing this team does makes any sense, and they’ll be picking at the top of 2023’s NFL Draft. You just wait and see.

13. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears entered the 2022 NFL offseason with the cap space to make something happen. They elected to blow up their roster instead.

There are theories that Chicago could move on from Justin Fields if he doesn’t pan out this season, but the front office hasn’t gotten him any help. Sheesh! Bears fans are loyal, and they deserve better.

12. Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions made some strides a year ago, but who are we kidding? It’s the Lions. We won’t place them anywhere other than the bottom tier until they prove they don’t deserve to be there.

11. Jacksonville Jaguars

We’re willing to give Trevor Lawrence a full pass after his rookie season (gosh Urban Meyer was terrible), but this team has held the first-overall selection in the past two drafts for a reason. They’ll improve under Doug Pederson, but we won’t believe they’re good until we actually see it.
