We’ve seen the Philadelphia Eagles struggle with some of these teams before.

We wouldn’t be surprised if the Eagles beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Minnesota Vikings. We also wouldn’t be shocked if they lost all three of the games. It doesn’t get much simpler than that.

The ‘these games can go either way’ tier

This doesn’t get talked about often, but the Philadelphia Eagles could have won ten games. If the ball would have bounced differently in a few instances or if they would have tried to win that final regular-season game versus the Dallas Cowboys, who knows what might have happened?

Let’s hope things go Philly’s way versus these opponents.

7. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers and Eagles have alternated wins in each of the past six games of this series. If the trend continues, the Birds will take this one.

Silly superstitions aside, Pittsburgh figures to field a rookie signal-caller in 2022. This is also a home game for Philadelphia. Hopefully, that carries them to the finish line.

6. Arizona Cardinals

After getting off to a hot start during the 2021-2022 regular season, the Arizona Cardinals cooled down the stretch before imploding in the playoffs versus the eventual Super Bowl champions. Their offseason hasn’t fueled any theories of a revenge tour.

Sure, they brought in Marquise Brown, but Chandler Jones, Christian Kirk, and Chase Edmonds are all gone. On top of that, DeAndre Hopkins has a six-game suspension to serve.

5. Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings got a lot better on defense during the most recent NFL Draft. There’s reason to be excited about Lewis Cine, Andrew Booth Jr., Brian Asamoah, and Akayleb Evans, and if Jonathan Gannon’s continues to make pedestrian quarterbacks look like all-pros, this could be a troubling game for the Birds.
