Eagles versus Packers games are always must-see television (and important).

Date: Sunday, November 27th at 8:20 p.m. EST

Venue: Lincoln Financial Field: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

There was the Jordan Love fiasco, the rumored breakup with Aaron Rodgers that never occurred, and those statements the reigning MVP made about being immunized. There was a playoff loss at home, a game the Green Bay Packers were favored in, and ultimately, Davante Adams’ decision to sign elsewhere during the most recent free-agency frenzy.

Oh, and how could we forget? There was even this theory that the Philadelphia Eagles could risk everything (and give away just about everybody) to land Rodgers because some believed there was a chance, though it was minimal, that there was this outside shot of him leaving Green Bay for the City of Brotherly Love.

The normally well-run and quiet Packers have transformed themselves into a traveling reality television series. The next season will, no doubt feature the following storyline: Who in the heck is Aaron Rodgers going to throw the ball to?

There’s just one thing, and it can’t be ignored. It doesn’t matter what happens. It doesn’t matter what the headlines say. As long as the Packers have Aaron Rodgers, they’ll be contenders, and they’ll have a chance.

Every time the Eagles see these guys, it feels like the stakes are high. This game will be no different as it’s an NFC clash that will probably determine playoff positioning. This time, Philly gets The Pack at home.
