Arizona Cardinals. . team. 32. . .

The Eagles’ last trip to Arizona didn’t work out too well.

Date: Sunday, October 9th at 4:25 p.m. EST

Venue: State Farm Stadium (Glendale, Arizona)

Every time we think of this game, for whatever reason, we think about Zach Ertz and this nightmare we keep having about him delivering an all-star performance versus the team that he called home for 8 1/2 years.

He finally got that deal he wanted, inking a three-year, $31.65 million extension on March 13th. Everything else that we know about the Arizona Cardinals seems to indicate that they’ll be worse than they were last year.

After getting off to a blistering 10-2 start during the 2021-2022 regular season, Kyler Murray got hurt and the Cards limped (pun intended) to a 1-4 finish in their final five games before imploding in the playoffs. As if all of that wasn’t bad enough, Chandler Jones, Christian Kirk, and Chase Edmonds all walked during the offseason and DeAndre Hopkins got smacked with a six-game suspension.

This feels like a game the Eagles should win, but you can also make statements like ‘trap game’.

The last meeting between these teams doubled as Jalen Hurts’ second career start in the National Football League. That one went down to the wire. Philadelphia didn’t get the result that they wanted in that one
