The margin for error will be slim for the Eagles during the 2022-2023 NFL season.

Life truly hasn’t been that bad as a Philadelphia Eagles fan. This gets mentioned in passing a lot. Occasionally, however, there are discussions in which we ask if NFL parity truly exists.

Why are the Pittsburgh Steelers always better than the Cleveland Browns? How come the Detroit Lions had Matthew Stafford for 12 years and didn’t win squat but the L.A. Rams added him and won a Super Bowl?

We’ve accepted the fact that the National Football League has done a better job of creating an environment in which every team can thrive than the NBA or MLB has done, but the Lions will always be, well, the Lions. That doesn’t mean that Philly can’t lose to them though.

You’ve heard this your entire life. On any given Sunday, any team can win (or lose). The margin for error is so slim in pro football. A 9-8 season versus a 10-7 campaign makes it seem like we’re only discussing one more win (or loss), but that single game could mean the difference between a home playoff game or missing the postseason entirely.

The Birds have tome tough games during the coming 2022-2023 regular-season campaign: the Tennessee Titans, the Green Bay Packers, and the Indianapolis Colts. They’re also scheduled for a couple of potential trap games. Here are a few tilts the Birds HAVE to come out on top in. These are the games Philly absolutely and positively can’t afford to lose.
