. . . Chicago Bears. . team. 57

Can you imagine what would happen if the Eagles dropped one to Chicago?

It seems strange to make statements like ‘the Eagles had better bring their A-game versus the Chicago Bears‘ or ‘circle that game in Week 15 at Soldier Field’, but there’s truth in both of those theories.

We’ve watched them do it every season. There’s always that game where Philly decides, for whatever reason, that they don’t want to play football that day. Often those games are against teams they should have no issues with.

There was the 2018 overtime loss versus the Titans. How about the 2019 losses to Detroit and the Miami Dolphins? There was even the debacle of a season ago, a loss at MetLife to the New York Giants that still has us scratching our heads.

Sure, the Eagles should beat Chicago. The question is will they?

The Bears had cap space coming into the offseason. Rather than add pieces, they blew up their roster, and they did nothing to improve themselves afterward.

This one has ‘trap game’ written all over it though. The game doubles as the second of three straight late-season road games. Philadelphia is scheduled to meet divisional opponents, New York in Week 14 and the Dallas Cowboys on Christmas Eve, in the games that precede and follow this one.
