3 huge games highlight toughest stretch of the Eagles regular season
Can the Eagles take the measure of the reigning MVP and The Pack?
If you’re like most, you probably do your best to stay away from calling games ‘easy’, but after having to tussle with Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, and Derek Carr in 2021, tussling with Jared Goff, Trevor Lawrence and Davis Mills has to feel like cruise control.
Jonathan Gannon’s defense will be tested at various points of the season. Kirk Cousins will never be Mahomes, but he has a history of shredding the Eagles’ defense. Then there’s this other guy.
Green Bay Packers, Week 12 (November 27th)
Philly hosts the reigning MVP, Aaron Rodgers, and the Green Bay Packers in Week 12. Hopefully, we won’t be entertaining discussions about a possible losing streak following the Eagles’ clash with the Colts.
Much has been made about Davante Adams’ decision to move on. We wouldn’t dwell on that too much. Green Bay always has a chance with Rodgers at the helm of their offense… with the exception of playoff games of course.
The Pack has added Sammy Watkins and they drafted Christian Watson. That should keep the Eagles’ secondary busy. They also recently inked Jaire Alexander to an extension. He’ll be tasked with keeping tabs on A.J. Brown.
You never know what to expect from an Eagles/Packers game, but they’re always interesting. Green Bay has taken six of the last eight games in the series. This one’s at Lincoln Financial Field. Hopefully, the home crown pushes Philly to a win.
