It’s simple. When the Eagles involve Dallas Goedert in the offense, the unit operates more efficiently.

Quarterbacks targeting Goedert boast an incredible 121 passer rating when targeted. That alone should convince anyone that he should be a focal point of the offense. Goedert’s PFF grade has ascended every year as well, with the exception of a slight dip in 2020, and that’s culminated with a personal best, an 88.9 grade to conclude the most recent season.

Philadelphia’s offensive line figures to continue being a strength heading into the next regular season. The running game will continue to set up opportunities for a lethal play-action game, and that, along with the opposing defense’s focus on DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown, will create plenty of opportunities for Goedert.

He’s then got the speed to get to the promised land. He is a truly dangerous weapon in the middle of the field, and he has sure hands, posting a 74% catch rate last season. Yes, friends, we’re going to use the Travis Kelce reference again.

Dallas creates separation. He’s an accomplished blocker. Expect the Eagles to use him on plenty of crafty screens for free yards as well and they play right into his skillset. Then, when Hurts decides to utilize Goedert’s physicality, 88 has a knack for snagging contested catches.

Dallas Goedert is a fantastic all-around talent at tight end, and he’ll be more of a household name once we reach the end of the 2022-2023 Eagles regular season. You just wait and see. This is the year Eagles fans! Tune in. You’re guaranteed to see one heck of a show,
