Game-by-game Eagles predictions following the James Bradberry addition
By Ryan Loftus
The Eagles close out their season in style, and head into the playoffs strong.
Date and Time: Saturday, December 24th at 4:25 p.m. EST
Venue: AT&T Stadium
Overall and divisional record: 11-4, 4-1
We did it. We finally did it. After losing the last four games to their division rival, the Birds finally beat the Dallas Cowboys in a blowout victory. We see the Eagles getting out to an early lead, and never taking their foot off the gas.
Philadelphia fans get the Christmas present they’ve been hoping for, and Jalen Hurts finally gets the satisfaction of defeating our most decorated division rival.
Date and Time: Sunday, January 1st at 1 p.m. EST
Venue: Lincoln Financial Field
Overall and divisional record: 11-5, 4-1
The Eagles are no stranger to the New Orleans Saints. Somehow by coincidence, the Birds and Saints have faced off every year since 2018, and the Eagles have won two out of those four matchups.
The last two wins came with Jalen Hurts at the helm of Philadelphia’s offense, but there are asterisks by the games because he dueled with Taysom Hill in one game and Trevor Siemian in the other.
Barring any catastrophic injury to Jameis Winston, he’ll get his turn with the Birds, and he’ll end up winning this one. Expect another frustrating watch where lethargic and sloppy play raises concerns for the upcoming playoff run.
Date and Time: TBD
Venue: Lincoln Financial Field
Overall and divisional record: 12-5, 5-1
This is the win the Eagles needed after a lethargic loss to the New Orleans Saints: a 40-point blowout game against one of the worst teams in football. The New York Giants will feel defeated and tired of Daniel Jones, and the Eagles will capitalize on that, handing the Giants one of their worst losses of the year.
We may even get to see some of Gardner Minshew as the blowout may convince Nick Sirianni and his staff to sit their starters for the late stages of the game.
