What a time we live in. If you’re like most, leisure time can be spent in front of the television fishing for some Philadelphia Eagles news on the NFL Network while streaming ESPN on your iPad or tablet at the same time that you’re flipping through your Twitter feed on your cellular device. If news breaks, the signing of James Bradberry for instance, there isn’t a Birds fan in the Delaware Valley or anywhere else on Planet Earth that has any plans on being left out.

Still, with so many areas in which a dedicated fan can find information, intriguing tidbits can slip through the cracks sometimes. CBS Sports’ Jim Rome has both his fans and detractors, but he’s often worth a watch as was the case when he had Bradberry on his show for a recent one-on-one interview.

James Bradberry shares a few thoughts on new teammate Darius Slay and the organization he left behind to join him.

There’s only one Jim Rome, and like him or not, he’s one of the best to ever do it. With appearances in everything from South Park to the 2005 remake of The Longest Yard to Space Jam on his resume and with his highly successful CBS Sports Radio show still doing huge numbers, he’s never without opinions or guests to share them with.

Bradberry joined him for a spell recently, and as you might imagine, having a Pro Bowl talent, Darius Slay, on the other side of the defensive formation was one of the topics of discussion. Here’s what he had to say on that note.

The 2020 Pro Bowler racked up 101 total tackles, seven interceptions, and 35 pass breakups in 32 career games with the G-Men. That includes 31 starts at the cornerback position.

Here’s what he had to say on the subject of leaving the New York Giants to join their longtime rivals the Philadelphia Eagles, in essence making Big Blue his rival now in the process.

There’s been speculation about whether or not his decision to join the Eagles had anything to do with his accompanying opportunity to battle the Giants twice during the coming season. James Bradberry has been all business in denying that, as you would expect him to.

Who are we kidding though? These guys are competitors, and regardless of what he’s said on the matter publicly, one thing is absolutely certain. Those games at Lincoln Financial Field and MetLife Stadium versus New York are almost certain to create an adrenaline rush for the man wearing the number 24 jersey for Philadelphia. You can count on that.
