Don’t rule out the possibility of the Philadelphia Eagles being in the market for their next franchise quarterback next offseason.

Well, by now, you’ve probably heard and read the reports. Jalen Hurts has been fantastic during Philadelphia Eagles‘ OTAs (organized team activities). QB1 has shown improvement. His deep ball continues to improve. The accuracy appears to be there.

Now, there’s no pass rush, and guys aren’t allowed to hit him. That means that all of this must be taken with a grain of salt, but the obvious changes and improvements in his throwing mechanics are noticeable. That’s very promising.

Entering year three of the Jalen Hurts experience doesn’t mean the Birds aren’t planning on keeping their options open. Gardner Minshew was acquired this past offseason. Philadelphia signed undrafted rookie free agent Carson Strong shortly after the 2022 NFL Draft, and if need be, they have the draft capital to make a trade in 2023.

Enter the top two quarterback prospects of next year’s selection meeting: C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young. If the Eagles feel the need to move on from Jalen Hurts, they’ll likely look to draft someone, and these two are the cream of the crop.

Obtaining one of these rising stars won’t be a guarantee, especially if the Eagles dive headfirst into the playoff race, but you can best believe they’ll be on Philly’s radar. That being said, here are three ways the Eagles could land one of these future stars come the next draft.
