The Reagor experience ends, and the Eagles bring in K’Lavon Chaisson for a second chance.

As is the case with Jalen Reagor, Jacksonville Jaguars EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson has been a massive disappointment. Both players need a change of scenery from their respective teams.

The Philadelphia Eagles are always looking to add edge rushers, so a move like this makes sense.

The Jalen Reagor experiment in Philadelphia needs to end and sooner rather than later. Adding A.J. Brown has made him expendable.

Reagor’s ceiling in the NFL appears to be one in which he’s utilized like a rotational receiver, one who may see most of his playing time on special teams in the return game.

Sending Reagor to Duval County reunites him with Doug Pederson, and that could be what he needs to rejuvenate (or some would say kickstart) his NFL career.

With the Jags selecting Trayvon Walker with the first-overall selection of the most recent NFL Draft, snaps are going to be even harder to come by for Chaisson. A player swap like this gives each player a shot to remove the ‘bust’ label they have been given, and if there’s a competitor in either one of them, knowing that this may be their final shot to prove themselves could flip an internal switch.

The Birds seemingly aren’t opposed to trading Reagor. They don’t want to give him away for next to nothing, but if we’re being honest, any player they get in return is going to come with some risk/reward involved. A swap between two players who need a change of scenery makes sense for both franchises.
