Who will make the final cut for the Philadelphia Eagles roster?

Training camp is just a little over one month away. There is plenty to be excited about for the Philadelphia Eagles‘ 2022-2023 season. It appears that the Birds are ready to take a big step forward.

It all starts with quarterback Jalen Hurts and the offensive weapons who are charged with putting up points. It’s not the same group we saw that had limitations in 2021 and struggled mightily in the Wild Card Round. We’ll cover the offensive linemen who make the final cut in a separate story, but here’s the bottom line.

That’s a top-tier and deep group. They make it possible for the offense, as a whole, to execute at a very high level.

Shane Steichen will remain as the play-caller after taking over midseason in 2021. This group is going to present a plethora of issues for opposing defensive coordinators both on the ground and through the air.

Nick Sirianni, Steichen, and the offensive coaching staff as a whole are going to have a lot of fun preparing the game plan each week with this squad.

New addition A.J. Brown is someone everyone will have their eyes on. Hurts has other options as well with sophomore wideout DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert. The latter signed a contract extension in November.

There are plenty of supporting pieces to talk about in addition to those guys, including the top man in the running back room, Miles Sanders. He’s entering a significant season professionally and contractually. With that said, with the 53-man roster in mind, here’s a look at what the best mixture of offensive weapons might look like.
