6. player. 54. . . . Isaac Seumalo, guard

Isaac Seumalo and T.J. Edwards have probably done enough to earn an extension in the minds of many. We’ll see what happens!

Bring up the Eagles’ offensive line to a Birds fan, and that’s a conversation that can go on for hours. There are legends, Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson. There are some young guys that are easy to get excited about, Cam Jurgens, Landon Dickerson, and Jordan Mailata. They take their direction from the best O-line coach in the business, Jeff Stoutland.

One of the ‘other guys’ on the line might be one of the best linemen that we never discuss. Isaac Seumalo is coming off of a Lisfranc injury that forced him to miss all but three games in 2021. This after he missed seven games in 2020.

His continued employment in Philly may come down to whether or not he can stay healthy. We’ll have to wait and see, but this definitely isn’t an issue with there being a lack of talent.

. . T.J. Edwards, linebacker. 5. player. 54.

Okay, we just don’t get it! T.J. Edwards never seems to get the credit he deserves for being one of the more talented young stars on this team.

People say he’s slow, but it certainly doesn’t look like it. Maybe ‘game speed’ is more important than a 40-yard dash time.

Regardless, T.J. will do anything to help his team win. Check out his fourth-quarter blocked punt in Carolina versus the Panthers that shifted momentum in Philadelphia’s favor for good if you need any evidence.
