Madden NFL 23 Ratings Reveal Week is well underway, and even though the gaming world’s best football simulation doesn’t drop until Friday, August 20th, Philadelphia Eagles fans can’t wait to attack the franchise mode knowing their team has one of the more impressive rosters in pro football.
The overall ratings for the NFL’s wide receivers and edge rushers were introduced by Electronic Arts on July 18th and 19th respectively. Running back ratings were unveiled on July 20th. If you found yourself pulling those up to see where Miles Sanders landed, trust us on this one. You aren’t alone.
Eagles star Miles Sanders is ranked as the 24th-best running back on Madden NFL 23.

Sure, none of this will guarantee failure or success. That will always be decided by play on the field, but Madden ratings are always intriguing. Like Pro Football Focus’ stat engine or Fantasy football tiers it kind of gives us an idea about how players are valued and what’s expected of them.
If you don’t believe Madden ratings matter, just ask Haason Reddick or any other NFL star who isn’t pleased with his measurables. If you’re interested, Boston Scott, Kenneth Gainwell, Jason Huntley, and Kennedy Brooks earned overall grades of 75, 74, 65, and 63 respectively.
