Possible NCAA All-Americans that may interest the Eagles in 2023 NFL Draft
Might the Eagles raid the Georgia Bulldogs cupboard again?
During the most recent NFL Draft, the Eagles decided they’d invest two of their selections in former Georgia Bulldogs. That seemed to have made everyone happy, especially when we watch Jordan Davis work. It’s hard not to marvel over his potential.
This season, the Dawgs have the ingredients to make another run towards a title. They’re loaded again, so when the Birds begin serious discussions about possible additions to their roster, they again should be looking towards one of college football’s best programs for ideas.
Something tells us that, they’ll explore the guys on the defensive line first, especially if Fletcher Cox and/or Javon Hargrave move on in free agency.
Feast your eyes on Jalen Carter, a former teammate of Davis and Nakobe Dean. He wrecked shop en route to 37 tackles and three sacks as a sophomore in 2021. He’ll get his share of looks.
Place him on the Eagles’ defensive line next to Davis, and no one will ever be able to run on this team again.
There’s more to Kelee Ringo‘s resume than a pick-six in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. In 2021, he racked up 34 tackles, two picks, and eight pass breakups after stepping into some huge cleats that were left behind by Tyson Campbell.
We don’t rank him as a first-rounder per se, at least not yet, but he’s in our top ten with the possibility of rising. And, seeing as how James Bradberry could move on after a single season, this is a move that could make sense if Philadelphia looks to add a corner in Round 2 after addressing another need (like the defensive line) early.
