Another week flies by, and that means the Philadelphia Eagles‘ second preseason game will be on the horizon before you know it. Two joint practices versus the Cleveland Browns seemingly ended as quickly as they began. Now, there’s a game to be played.

These two teams meet on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST and for a lot of guys on the back half of the roster, that means they have another opportunity to impress the coaches as the pressure will only get more intense from here on out. That’s a good thing because a lot of these guys will need every rep made available to them.

Reid Sinnett, quarterback

Reid Sinnett had a golden opportunity versus the New York Jets to solidify himself as the third quarterback on the Eagles depth chart once it was learned that Carson Strong had been relegated to a ‘healthy scratch’ designation (ouch). Reid did exactly that but more so by default than anything he was doing.

The offense experienced long instances of what can only be described as a drought, and even though QB3 led Philadelphia to a go-ahead score late (more on that later), it’s more than obvious that he isn’t quite where some have previously believed (us included).

He needs a better showing in the second preseason game versus the Browns. Here are several other Birds that fall in that category as well.
