Eagles Week 2 game balls following their win on Monday Night Football
Can we give all of the Philadelphia Eagles a game ball following Week 2’s win?
Maybe it’s happened before. If it has, we’re unaware of when it occurred. It seems as though handing out ten game balls is excessive, but that’s the beauty of owning creative license. Following the Philadelphia Eagles‘ 24-7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 on Monday Night Football, we had dreams of Jalen Hurts carrying three defenders into the end zone.
So, rather than dropping a studs and duds feature or discussing winners and losers (or stock up/stock down options), we’re handing out ten game balls. Obviously, QB1 gets the first one.
Jalen Hurts, quarterback
He plays the most recognizable position in professional sports. He plays in a football-crazy town. Then, there’s the added component of being a constant topic of discussion. Jalen Hurts answered the call again in Week 2 on primetime television, playing his best game in an Eagles jersey to this point of his young career.
He didn’t throw an incompletion until much of the second quarter had elapsed, and on the night, he tallied a 108.7 rating, 333 yards passing, and a passing touchdown while completing 26 of 33 attempts. He picked up another 57 yards and two rushing touchdowns on 11 carries.
Call it another day at the office for QB1. He’s our offensive MVP in this one. Here are four other offensive players that get game balls after this one.
