The Commanders are, by no means, a cakewalk for the Eagles in Week 3.
Another week brings another challenge for the Philadelphia Eagles. This time around, the opponent is one of the three teams that the Birds are most familiar with, the division-rival Washington Commanders.
Week 2’s Eagles win surprised some. No one should be shocked if the coming game winds up being tightly contested. After limiting long-time nemesis Kirk Cousins on the most recent edition of Monday Night Football, the hope is they can confuse a former ally, Commanders quarterback Carson Wentz.
Speak with some of the more well-known football pundits, and they’ll say that Carson Wentz and Kirk Cousins are the same guys. Neither player is elite, nor do they excel when they have to be clutch. Seemingly if you placed either guy on the other’s team, the results wouldn’t change.
There are also other theories. Some believe that Cousins is slightly more polished. Others would state that Wentz is more gifted. Both have rockets for arms.
Regardless of your thoughts on that, here’s where we can agree. Both are surrounded by talent. Here are ten of Washington’s best players not named Wentz. They’re definitely worth a watch.
