The Eagles have a fight on their hands with the Jaguars in Week 4.

Time flies huh? Before you know it, Thursday night will arrive, and it will be time to digest another NFL game. That means we’ll be one step closer to Round 4, the next game on the Philadelphia Eagles schedule.

This time, the Jacksonville Jaguars are the opponent, so this one also doubles as a homecoming of sorts. They’re led by Doug Pederson. He makes his return to Lincoln Financial Field, this time as the enemy.

His Jags are 2-1 after three games with their most recent triumph being a surprise upset. They throttled the Los Angeles Chargers, a team many discussed during the preseason as an organization that could very well represent the American Football Conference in the next Super Bowl.

They’re led on offense by an up-and-coming star at the quarterback position, Trevor Lawrence. We’ve seen Doug’s coaching staff transform a young signal-caller into an MVP candidate before. Might that happen again?

While it may not be time to have that conversation yet, we do know the Jags organization intends to build around 2021’s first-overall selection. He’s capable of helping his team fuel a second consecutive upset versus a favored team. Keep your eyes on him as well as a handful of other stars on Jacksonville’s talented young roster.
