The Philadelphia Eagles top our Week 5 NFL Power Rankings.

team. 54. . 4-0. . Philadelphia Eagles. 1

The Philadelphia Eagles find themselves perched atop Week 5’s NFL Power Rankings, and truthfully, they deserve to be there. They’re second in total yards gained on offense. They’re also ranked top ten in both rushing and passing yards.

Philadelphia has the best turnover differential in the league (+8). Only three teams have scored more points (28.8 per contest). Everyone loves sacks on defense. No NFL team has more (16 on the season and counting).

This offense is clicking. As expected, Jalen Hurts has taken a tremendous step forward as a passer as A.J. Brown has been everything that the franchise can hope for as the number-one receiver this team has seemingly needed for the past few seasons (no disrespect is intended to DeVonta Smith).

Miles Sanders keeps finding the end zone. Dallas Goedert has been emerging as one of the top tight ends in the NFL. The Eagles’ defense is coming together too, with Hassan Reddick applying pressure on quarterbacks more frequently now.

Trending. Lessons learned heading into Week 5. light

Jordan Davis stuffing the run. Darius Slay continues to prove that he’s one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. This is the best team the Eagles have assembled since winning the Super Bowl. The NFL is on notice, and if the Birds don’t slow down, the road to football’s biggest game in the NFC may run through Philadelphia this season.
