Nick Sirianni has an idea for a new backfield bruiser.

As everyone was settling into a nice conversation, another member of McAfee’s cast, Boston Connor got into the act and the subject of a keg that found its way to Jason Kelce’s doorstep made its way into the conversation.

For those who are unaware, Coach Sirianni offered a gift to the future Hall of Famer in an attempt to sway Jason from retiring. Kelce announced that he would, indeed, return in typical Jason Kelce fashion. With the anchor of Philadelphia’s offensive line back in the lineup and thriving (and with the elite athleticism that we’ve come to know him for), the wheels are still turning for the mad scientist, Coach Sirianni.

Nick said that may be looking to get Kelce in the end zone at some point in the regular season. Coach apparently has a few ideas for getting Kelce in the backfield, giving him carries on a dive or making him the receiver in a screen pass. Nick said that he didn’t want to say when or where we may see the play call, but for an organization that’s never been shy in using trick plays in the offensive attack, no one should be shocked if Jason Kelce manages to find his way into the end zone at some point during the 2022 regular season.

After all, we saw Lane Johnson score on a touchdown pass in 2021. You saw how emotional that made him. Jason Kelce is a lock for enshrinement in Canton, and Sirianni is one of those coaches who is always looking for unique ways to show his guys that he appreciates them..
