. . . Kyzir White. 43. player. 54

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Kyzir White

Linebacker Kyzir White was another player who came to the Eagles on a ‘prove-it’ deal and has performed with excellence. He showed off his talents immediately with an interception on his first preseason drive versus the New York Jets with a thrilling interception and has continued to show his skill with three pass deflections, and commanding leadership at the defense’s second level.

While re-signing both T.J. Edwards and Kyzir White isn’t completely necessary with Nakobe Dean waiting in the wings, extending one or the other is necessary for the long-term success of the defense.

Edwards is probably more likely to return, but if White is willing to sign a team-friendly deal, the Philadelphia Eagles should definitely seize the opportunity.

The Eagles could also look into extending some of their other players. Some of the best options include C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Javon Hargrave, Isaac Seumalo, or even Andre Dillard. Only time will tell if leadership agrees with that assessment.
