A pair of Eagles reserve stars are questionable for Sunday Night Football
We’re liking what we’ve been seeing on the Philadelphia Eagles‘ injury report. Good news came on Wednesday. Many of the veterans were given rest days on Thursday, and on Friday, much of their wounded were full participants at the final practice session before they dive headfirst into a tussle with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.
As much of the East Coast began putting a bow on another work week, the Birds were releasing their injury report. Eight of the ten names mentioned belonged to guys who were full participants. Two of their reserves, cornerback Josh Jobe (shoulder) and defensive end Janarius Robinson (ankle) were limited. They’re both questionable for Week 6’s game.
Here are the rest of the Eagles’ injury updates for Friday.
Most of the names on Philly’s injury report belong to starters. There are also some highly-touted reserves that we’re excited about.
That includes starting guards Landon Dickerson (ankle) and Isaac Seumalo (ankle) as well as tackle Jordan Mailata (shoulder), cornerback Avonte Maddox (ankle), kicker Jake Elliott (right ankle), running back Kenneth Gainwell (rib), linebacker Patrick Johnson (concussion), and center Jason Kelce (ankle).
No word has been given on who we can expect to see in the starting lineup by the time we reach kickoff. That’s okay for several reasons, the competitive advantage being one of them. Still, by the looks of things, it appears that things are looking up for three members of the NFL’s best offensive line. It will be awesome to have Avonte Maddox back in the lineup if he can go.
