Thanks to the bye week, we’ve had two weeks to talk about the Philadelphia Eagles‘ next game, one versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. There comes a point when you’ve discussed matchups as often as humanly possible. There comes a point when historical data is just that… a part of history. That’s when you begin realizing that these are two proud teams with two rich histories. That becomes the centerpiece of every discussion.

The 7-0 Birds and 2-5 Steelers may appear to be headed in opposite directions, but Philly has a fight on its hands. Any team coached by Mike Tomlin will always be scrappy.

Still, even with that being said, the Steelers are limited offensively, and Philadelphia is the better team. That’s why FanDuel favors the Eagles by 10.5 points.

Let’s not complicate this. As long as the Eagles play sound defense and they don’t turn the ball over when operating on offense, they should win by at least two scores. Here are a few prop bets that you may want to take advantage of while you enjoy the game.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-115)

We’ll be honest. We weren’t present for any of Philly’s team meetings. We won’t have a headset on when the coaches are calling plays, but here’s what we’d be saying if the opposite were true.

Keep the ball in Jalen Hurts‘ hands, and let him go win this game for you. He may score early, or he may score late when the Steelers’ defense is running on fumes. Either way, we expect him to score at some point.

How about a quarterback sneak late from the goal line to put this one away?

Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts Passing Yards: Over 231.5 (-114)

In a game that figures to be tight early, Jalen Hurts will rely on his arm, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert to seize the advantage. Once he does that, Philly can cruise to victory behind its running game.

Offensive coordinator Shane Steichen likes to utilize his playmakers and get everyone involved. QB1 should cruise to 232 yards passing or more in this one thanks to three or four big plays through the air.

Jalen Hurts Rushing Yards – Over 46.5 (-114)

As you can probably tell, we’re expecting a huge statistical day from Jalen Huts. A few designed runs and well-placed passes will help the Eagles get out in front on the scoreboard. The Eagles’ run game will help seal things late, but QB1 should have at least 47 rushing yards in his back pocket by the time we reach the fourth quarter.
