In just their last three meetings alone, we saw two convincing wins by The Pack (2016 and 2020) sandwich a surprise road victory by an underdog Eagles team in primetime during the 2019 campaign. In total, they’ve met 45 times with Green Bay holding a 28-17 edge.

Philly will be favored. Most believe they’ll win. The jury is still out on whether or not everyone is confident that they’ll cover. Recent history suggests that they probably won’t. This should be an intriguing week for wagers.

Based on some pretty pedestrian performances we’ve seen from both the Birds and Pack recently, it seems unwise to bet the OVER. Then again, the Packers did shock everyone by hanging 31 points on the Dallas Cowboys, but Aaron Rodgers has rarely looked like himself all season. Green Bay’s offensive explosion in Week 10 was the exception to the rule. They’ve only exceeded 17 points in two of their last six games.

Philly has also been struggling offensively, but we’d all agree that they’re better than Green Bay, right? It’s for that reason that we will elect to take the Eagles in this one and take the points, but if you’re thinking about betting the OVER, steer clear.
